Growing Tip
Spring flowering shrubs such as Forsythias, Lilacs, Azaleas and Rhododendrons should be pruned AFTER they finish blooming. If these shrubs are pruned in the spring, the flower buds will be pruned off. These shrubs should be pruned in the fall before they set bud.
